Troops are the main front in each attack and defence in Siege of Mytra.
Troops are expendable units in Siege of Mytra, powerful in battalions but can be weak if fighting against the powerful mercenaries of your enemies.
Each troop unit makes a flat, unskilled attack against its opponent on the battlefield. But from the most austere Light Infantry to the noble Heavy Cavalry they fulfill a necessary role within Siege of Mytra: attack and defense.
Troops, like regular mercenaries, protect your $DOBLON coffers but incur $DOBLON salary costs. If on any occasion the balance of your $DOBLON reserves is not able to pay your troops' salary, they will desert your castle in search of honor and glory.
The following table shows the relationship of Troops with their Strength and Salary attributes:

The current troops are Human, but Siege of Mytra will have expansions that unlock more races and unique troops based in the new races.
Select which troop you want to start producing in this castle. Each Troop needs several turns to be produced (archer the lowest, heavy cavalry the highest). Once the desired troop has been selected, the player needs to wait until the transaction is done.
After one hour and a cumulative maximum of eight hours, the player will be able to claim the Troops ordered to produce and pay the Salary that the existing Troops have consumed (see this table above) during the turns that the player has been absent.
Open the Castle screen to see the Troops that all your Castles have produced.
All troops produced are garrisoned in the castle, on Castle screen you’re allow to “Remove” them to send the battle or “Add” them in case of troops not garrisoned to defend the castle from attacks.
Click on the Castle button then, click onbutton.
